Suitability Screening Center

The suitability screening center will be a centralized location for active duty members and their families to complete their OVERSEAS SCREENING, SEA DUTY SCREENING (ship duty), or MEDICAL ASSIGNMENT SCREENING (after a period of limited duty). Per BUMEDINST 1300.2A, the OSS process is required to be completed within 30 days of receipt of Orders. It is important that an OSS is thoroughly completed on each service and family member that is selected to go overseas

  • NAVPERS 15559B, CH4, Officers Transfer Manual
  • BUMED Instruction 1300.2B, of 27 JUL 16. Medical, Dental, and Educational Suitability Screening and Exceptional Family Member Program Enrollment.
  • This screening will involve 2 or more visits to our facility, depending on your medical and dental status.
  • If you have a family member with chronic medical or educational conditions to include asthma or mental health and are on medications, please visit our Exceptional Family Member Program site to enroll or update your family member's status.
