Scope Of Care:
The Orthopedic Clinic provides both non-surgical and operative care to all eligible beneficiaries for a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. Patients are seen in the Orthopedic Clinic by referral and appointment only. Surgeries are performed at WhidbeyHealth Medical Center in Coupeville.
Specific areas within orthopedics for which care can be given include:
- Sports-related injuries
- Musculoskeletal trauma and over use injury
- Limited pediatric orthopedic conditions
- Fracture management
- Tendon injuries
- Treatment of certain musculoskeletal infections
- Non-operative joint conditions

- Sports Medicine
- Knee arthroscopy
- ACL reconstruction
- Meniscus debridement/repair
- Shoulder arthroscopy
- Rotator cuff repair
- Ankle arthroscopy
- Ligament reconstruction

- Removal of hardware
- Carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel release
- Ganglion excision
- Trigger finger surgery
- Internal fixation of fractures

Orthopedic services NOT rendered at Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor are:
- Spine surgery
- Complex hand surgery
- Total joint arthroplasty (joint replacements)
- Limb or digit replantation
- Major trauma surgery
- Flatfoot or cavus (high arch) foot reconstruction
